Our Model

We have a lot of ideas about we see the world but most of what you'll see and read on The Carnage Report will center around five factors we think are important namely Finance, Recrutiing, Coaching/Development, System(s) and Morale.

These five factors (along with others) strongly shape what we write about, analyse, invest and spend time on and will going forward.

While we mostly use this model to look at sports, we've found our approach has applications in other fields and what we seen is that significant successes and failures in these areas serve as reliable predictors for the fall and rise of organizations whether it be sports teams, companies or even governments.

Along with our focus on these five factors, we evaluate the risk involved in our predictions which you may see in some of our content with position ratings. We grade our positions across an A to D risk scale (A being low Risk D, being high risk) which signals to our audience the likelyhood we think an event is likely to happen. 

In sum. with our model we think we can provide value to readers and over time we hope you agree.
